Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Adjunct Instructor opportunity within your organization. I am a Doctorate of Environmental Sciences graduate with a specialization in climate change crises, and I am excited about the possibility of contributing to your team.

Currently, I serve as a Research Coordinator at the University of Sunnybank’s Office of Biotechnology and Environment, where I focus on research that drives environmental and social change. Prior to this role, I held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences, where I gained experience in instructional planning, grading, lab supervision, and teaching Microbiology and Bioremediation.

My research expertise includes social and legal aspects of the environment and energy planning, with a particular interest in the human-environment relationship. I have contributed to academic publications and conducted fieldwork and interviews with experts in Europe for research projects.

With 6 years of research and teaching experience, along with a Master of Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Environment and Society, I am well-equipped to deliver engaging climate change courses to students. I have also pursued professional development in environmental ethics philosophy.

I have greatly appreciated my time at the University of Sunnybank and am now eager to explore new opportunities in academia. I have attached my curriculum vitae for your review and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss how my qualifications align with the needs of your organization.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to your team.

Sincerely,

Adam Atwood
