Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the Life Enrichment Director position with your organization. With 6 years of experience working with senior citizens, I believe my background and skills align well with the requirements of this role.

In my most recent role as Recreation Manager at Sunnybank Seniors Center, I was responsible for developing and implementing enrichment programs for a group of 70 members. These programs focused on enhancing cognitive and physical abilities, as well as promoting social interaction among participants. I have a strong foundation in social work and creative arts therapy, which allowed me to design activities that engaged and benefitted our clients.

My approach to life enrichment is rooted in a learner-centered pedagogy, supported by educational research and evidence-based practices. I have also established partnerships with external recreational activity providers to offer additional classes and services to our members. These partnerships have resulted in successful programs such as dance, yoga, and bowling classes.

In addition to my Graduate Diploma in Expressive Therapies (Applied Counselling) and Bachelor of Fine Arts, I hold certifications in social work and creative arts therapy-related areas. I am confident that my qualifications and experience make me a strong candidate for this position.

I have attached my resume for your review and look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my skills and experiences align with the needs of your organization. Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely,

Emma Wall
