Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the RF/Microwave Engineer position with your company. With 3 years of experience in the field working on wireless systems, I believe I would be a valuable asset to your team.

Currently employed as an RF/Microwave Engineer at Halliwell in Ohio, I am responsible for developing cutting-edge wireless digital communication and radar imaging systems. This includes designing, simulating, and testing RF front-end systems and sub-systems, deriving specifications for RF/microwave systems, developing RF/microwave circuits and components, and participating in technical design reviews. Prior to this role, I gained experience as a Junior RF Engineer at WowTech, where I was involved in the design, testing, commissioning, and optimization of wireless networks for mobile operators and equipment manufacturers.

I hold a BS in Electrical Engineering, specializing in RF/microwave circuits and electromagnetic theory. I have experience working with RF/microwave design up to 30 GHz and am proficient in using HFSS, CST, ADS, or AWR for RF/microwave design. Additionally, I am skilled in Matlab, Python, and C++.

I am particularly interested in this opportunity as Halliwell is relocating its Design Center to Michigan, and I am seeking a new role closer to home. I am passionate about designing innovative and user-friendly RF solutions, and I believe my skills and experience align well with the requirements of this position.

I have attached my résumé for your review and consideration. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how my background, skills, and enthusiasms can contribute to your team.

Sincerely,

Martin Lambert
