What's our take on Teal’s resume builder?

While we believe our product and think Kickresume is definitely worth trying, choosing to try out Teal won’t be a bad choice either. It’s a quality tool that can help you achieve your goal—a great resume.

Here’s what we noticed:

  • Job Search Chrome Extension. This feature integrates with 40+ job boards so you can save all your applications, contacts, and companies in one central place–it’s a really nice touch, Teal!
  • Nice minimalistic templates. Teal offers a range of minimalistic templates, which is ideal if you prefer a clean, straightforward design. However, if you're looking for more design options that go beyond minimalism and allow for a bit more creativity, Kickresume has you covered.
  • Job Application Tracker. Teal offers a tool designed to help users navigate, track, and organize their job opportunities more effectively. With this tool, you can save job ads directly from your browser and then customize your application using the provided job insights.
  • Career tools. Just like Kickresume, Teal has a set of tools to support you on your career journey. These range from various generators, checkers, trackers and fixers to quizzes to help you figure out your work style or even whether you should quit your job.
  • Some features are difficult to find/access. For example, when trying to launch the AI Interview Practice feature from its dedicated landing page I was unsuccessful. I had to do a lot of digging to find it hidden inside my account. The same goes for the Resume Parser feature.
  • Maybe too many tools? When you go to Teal's website and head over to the tools overview section, you’ll find a list of 40 (forty!!!) AI tools when you scroll all the way down. For me as a user, it was pretty overwhelming to sift through them and figure out which ones were actually useful.

Also, if it's not just Teal that you want to know about, here's our take on:
