As the tech lead for the business operations infrastructure team, I'm responsible for guiding the team towards achieving the common goals of the organization, by pursuing the best architectural, coding and design patterns. Communication with other teams, and non technical stake holders is essential. Therefor, I also act as a bridge making sure business requirements are propperly and efficiently translated into technical roadmaps for implementation.

Together with my team, we were responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure for business operations across the company. After a couple months since joining the company, I was assigned to implement a very important feature for managing premium services and collecting fees. I was able to use pay.nl API to get required information about the transactions. The mentioned feature became an important source of revenue for the company.

Co-founded an IT consultancy agency that provided remote developer teams to handle part or entire projects for other organizations. Leaded a team in the creation of several Mobile apps and integrations between the ODOO and platforms like Shopify and Google Cloud Services. As the most experienced developer, I provided guidance on good practices and project coordination. We were able to scale from just 3 developers to a team of around 10 and multiple clients the first year, learning a lot in the process.

As part of the team behind the main product, the Fonoma app, we were tasked with the complete redesign of the app. Some of the features were reused but a lot of them were created from scratch, specially integrations with Braintree and Paypal APIs for payments. Ionic integrations for both were not available but we were able to create our own. I also improved the bug fixing process by fixing the integrations with Rollbar and connecting vscode to chrome dev tools.

As a solo developer, I created a platform that enabled Cuban users to browse the internet from mobile phones without internet, merely by using their very limited email service (there was only email, not full internet access). The platform was comprised of a Backend application with a custom email based API developed with PHP, and an Android app which served as a proxy by redirecting browser activity through email messages. The most challenging part was to handle several browser connections concurrently while using a single channel for SMTP/IMAP communication, this was a very uncommon and undocumented situation. I was able to implement it by the use of concurrency JAVA primitives, like Synchronous Queues and locks to synchronize access to shared resources.
