I graduated in June 2020 with a Bachelor of Elementary Teacher Education (BSEd/E) from the University of Phoenix, which equipped me with the skills and knowledge to:

• design and implement effective instruction to produce a positive impact on student learning
• evaluate effective professional practice in elementary education
• apply professional ethics to my instructional practices
• evaluate learning principles to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse student populations
• create innovative strategies and incorporate technology in an elementary classroom setting

During my studies, I completed a practicum and two traineeships to develop my hands-on teaching skills, including with students who have learning disabilities and special needs. These included:

• Assisted teaching staff with their classes
• Prepared teaching and learning materials such as visual aids, handouts, etc.
• Maintained equipment and set up lab/classroom experiments
• Graded projects and assignments

The feedback I received was overwhelmingly positive: as well as being described as passionate, caring and hardworking, I gained a great reputation for my creativity, energy, and flexibility in the classroom.
